The Joe Papaleo Writers’ Workshop in Cetara, Italy, from May 24 (arrival) – May 31 (departure), 2019, is recommended for writers of all skill levels. No painting experience is needed. This is a week for the mature writer as well as for those who envision beginning their stories. Most of all, it is for writers who know that quiet “away time” in a natural setting is a gift. Just as we will unpack upon arrival, our daily workshops, and our painting sessions, will help writers unpack their own words and creativity waiting to emerge.

How to Apply:
1. Applicants must upload a Statement of Purpose (up to 500 words or less) stating their current writing experience and their goals for this week in Italy.
2. A short bio/resume is requested.
3. A three to five page sample of your writing (double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman).
4. Submit payment for $50 non-refundable application fee

Full tuition is $3950 ($500 deposit required after acceptance to program).
