This class is for fiction writers who want to start or continue a story or novel but find it hard to do it alone. Each two-hour class will offer a variety of writing exercises designed to get you writing during and beyond the class. Like a gym, this is a place to stretch your writing muscles or engage in a longer workout.

Jimin Han's work can be found or is forthcoming at NPR’s “Weekend America,” Catapult Magazine, Poets & Writers Magazine, The Rumpus, and Platypus Press, among others. A podcast on Love and Democracy is on Asian American Writers Workshop’s website. A Small Revolution, her first novel, was among Entropy’s Best Fiction of 2017, Pleiades Editors’ Choice 2017, Redbook Magazine’s 20 Books By Women You Must Read This Spring, Buzzfeed’s 6 Binge-worthy Literary Books of May, CNN’s Summer Beach Reads, and Electric Literature’s list of 34 Books By Women of Color To Read This Year and list of Ten Galvanizing Books About Political Protest.

Registration is no longer available because the event has been cancelled.
