You're Beginning Your Novel with Ines Rodrigues

    Workshop is limited to 15 registrants

    If you have an idea for a novel, some notes or a few pages, this class will help you structure your plot, develop your characters and get disciplined to move on. The 10 sessions include craft lessons on topics such as dialogue, settings and point of view, but also workshops where your pages will receive valuable comments from the instructor and the other writers. You will also learn more about what it takes to become part of a writing community, an important step in the path of publishing your future book.

    Ines Rodrigues is a writer, journalist and teacher. Her first novel, Days of Bossa Nova, was published in 2017 by Black Opal Books. She has been an instructor at the Writing Institute since 2016. She’s the editor of Scarsdale Living Magazine, and she's currently working on a second novel. Ines is an alumna of the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College and Universitá di Perugia (Italy). Since 2015 she has been promoting The Scarsdale Salon, an international literary event in partnership with the Salon de Belleville in France.
