Investigative research, while challenging, can be incredibly interesting and exciting to do! Research is vital to the integrity of a story and to the credibility of the writer. In this workshop, you will learn a number of skills including ways to organize your findings, determine the reliability of sources, and discover ways to incorporate the information into the text. We will use a variety of topics such as health, history, travel to illustrate the obstacles that may arise from doing this work. More importantly, you will find solutions to these problems. Open to writers of any genre (poetry, fiction, nonfiction).
