    Join The Writing Institute for an evening of readings that will bring us mystery, romance, a family saga, and treachery. We are proud to showcase three instructors! 

    Jimin Han received her BA from Cornell University and her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. Her writing can be found at NPR's "Weekend America," The Rumpus, and Entropy, among others. Her novel, A Small Revolution ( forthcoming from Little A, spring 2017). Follow her tweets @jiminhanwriter 

    Steven Lewis is a former Mentor at SUNY-Empire State College, current member of the Sarah Lawrence College Writing Institute faculty, and longtime freelancer. His work has been published widely, from the notable to the beyond obscure, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, LA Times, Ploughshares, Narratively, Spirituality & Health and a biblically long list of parenting publications (7 kids, 16 grandkids). He is a Contributing Writer at Talking Writing and Literary Ombudsman for 650: Where Writers Read. His books include Zen and the Art of Fatherhood, Fear and Loathing of Boca Raton, a novel, Take This, a new chapbook of poems, If I Die Before You Wake (Finishing Line Press, March 2017), and a generational sequel to Take This, tiled Loving Violet, to be published by Codhill Press in summer 2017.

    Annabel Monaghan writes for TheWeek.com, The Huffington Post and The Rye Record. Her first book for adults, Does This Volvo Make My Butt Look Big? is a collection of humorous essays for moms (Fischer Press 2016). She is the author of two novels for young adults,A Girl Named DigitandDouble Digit (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt 2010 and 2012), and she is the co-author ofClick! The Girls Guide to Knowing What You Want and Making it Happen(Simon and Schuster 2007).Annabel has a BA inEnglishfrom Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. She teaches novel writing at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College and lives in Rye, New York with her husband and three sons.
