How often do we write and stuff our poems in a drawer to marinate, only to forget we ever wrote them as we move on to the next class, the next great idea? This 5 week workshop will invite students to gather and take a good look at what we started over the past year or before. We'll find inspiration for revision and shaping by reading unique poems and by engagement in craft discussions, as well as by creating a supportive workshop for each other each week, with the mission to evolve our work towards finish.

Carla Carlson is the author of Love and Oranges, a poetry chapbook. Some of her recently published poems can be viewed at Statorec.com. She teaches poetry classes at the Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, and at the Hudson Valley Writers Center in Sleepy Hollow, NY, where she co-runs a monthly submission cooperative. She and her husband live in Bronxville, NY.

Payment is required for your registration to be confirmed. If we don’t receive your payment within 48 hours of submission of this form, your registration will automatically be cancelled. You will have to complete the form again if you wish to register for the class.

Step 3 - Confirmation: Once we receive your payment, your registration will be finalized and confirmed with an email. Please keep this email for your records.  Details about room assignment, parking, and any other information relevant to the course will be emailed to registered students the week before classes begin.
