The Joe Papaleo Writers’ Workshop in Cetara, Italy, from May 25 (arrival) – June 1 (departure), 2018, is recommended for writers of all skill levels. No painting experience is needed. This is a week for the mature writer as well as for those who envision beginning their stories. Most of all, it is for writers who know that quiet “away time” in a natural setting is a gift. Just as we will unpack upon arrival, our daily workshops, and our painting sessions, will help writers unpack their own words and creativity waiting to emerge.

How to Apply:
1. Applicants must upload a Statement of Purpose (up to 500 words or less) stating their current writing experience and their goals for this week in Italy.
2. A short bio/resume is requested.
3. A three to five page sample of your writing (double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman).
4. Submit payment for $50 non-refundable application fee

You will be notified within 10 business days from your submission. If accepted, you will receive further information regarding the program, insurance requirements, and payment options. Full tuition is $3950 ($500 deposit required after acceptance to program).
