The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College is pleased to extend this invitation for you to join us on Thursday, December 12^th, from 6:30 pm—9:00 pm, for our annual Student Reading and End of Year Celebration. As writers, we may be willing to pass up a chance to dance or sing; however, we rarely miss the opportunity to be with fellow students. Come join us as we celebrate our community!
 
We hope to see you for this special evening where we will visit with fellow writers, listen to readings, and show gratitude for all we share together. If you are interested in reading, and we hope you are, please bring one double spaced page with you. Everyone who has a page to read, will get to read.

We will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the Yonkers YWCA.
This includes canned goods such as: tuna, salmon, chicken or other meats; beans; soups and stews; cranberry sauce; sweet potatoes or pumpkin. We can also take donations of new unwrapped toys for children. Gifts for children and teens of all ages are welcome. Donations will go to the children and families staying in YWCA.
