    Do you sometimes struggle to find the right narrative voice to tell your stories? This class will focus on the different modes of narration and the intended effects between telling a story in first, second, or third person. We will look at examples of fiction and explore different narrative methods in our own writing through prompts. All levels of writers welcome. 

    Katie Bonadiesreceived her B.A. from Smith College with a Certificate in Buddhist Studies. She is an MFA candidate in fiction writing at Sarah Lawrence College, where she is the Executive Editor of LUMINA, the graduate program's literary journal. Her work has appeared in The Louisville Review. 

    Victoria Provazzareceived her B.A. from Providence College. She is currently pursuing an MFA in fiction at Sarah Lawrence College, where she serves as the Managing Editor for the literary journal, LUMINA. Her work is forthcoming in Story|Houston.

    Writing Institute Registration Process:

    Step 2 - Payment: Once you click submit on this form, a new page will appear in your browser with a payment link. Click on the payment link, complete the required information, and submit your payment. 
    Payment is required for your registration to be confirmed. If we don’t receive your payment within 48 hours of submission of this form, your registration will automatically be cancelled. You will have to complete the form again if you wish to register for the class.

    Step 3 - Confirmation: Once we receive your payment, your registration will be finalized and confirmed with an email. Please keep this email for your records.  Details about room assignment, parking, and any other information relevant to the course will be emailed to registered students the week before classes begin.
