Three opportunities to master your college essay

In these interactive workshops, admissions experts from national liberal arts and sciences colleges that deeply value writing will share what makes a successful college essay and discuss how the essay fits into the college selection process.

As you get ready to begin the application process, we hope you will gain new perspectives to alleviate any fears and myths about the college essay. Explore topics, strategies and approaches to essays that will authentically convey who you are. Even if you consider your essay "done," you may gain new perspectives that will help ensure you've done your very best. Interest in these colleges is not required for attendance.

Writing Workshop Presenters:
Anna Aegerter, Director of West Coast Admission, Sarah Lawrence College (Bronxville, NY)
Jennifer Delahunty, Associate Dean of West Coast Admissions, Kenyon College (Gambier, OH)
Kati Sweaney, Assistant Dean of Admission, Reed College (Portland, OR)
