Thank you for your interest in learning more about Sarah Lawrence College! Whether or not you are able to visit our campus in person, we hope we can bring a little bit of SLC directly to you. Our live virtual session is designed to give a general introduction to the college describing our distinctive model of education and an opportunity to hear from a panel of current students. Attending one of these sessions will give you a pretty full overview of our take on a liberal arts education!

    Sarah Lawrence College: An Introduction for International Students
    Tuesday, October 29th & Thursday, October 31st at 9am EST

    For a college of 1,400 undergraduates, SLC has an impressive global network and community, welcoming students from over 50 countries and every continent (except Antarctica), who make up 10-12% of the student body. Reflecting our physical location next to New York City, SLC is home to so many different citizenships and backgrounds, but we also know that if you are considering Sarah Lawrence from a country outside of the U.S., you may have questions that might best be answered by our international admissions staff and current international students. We invite students from all around the world to join us for this information session geared specifically for students applying from international schools and regions.

    These information sessions, led by Lena Adely, Director of International Admission, with current students on hand, are designed for prospective undergraduate students (with family members welcome to join), and will include:

    • An introduction to academics, research, and the arts at SLC;
    • Discussion of co-curricular opportunities such as internships, study abroad, fieldwork, and more;
    • Insight into what it's like to live on a residential campus right next to New York City;
    • Students sharing some of their own roles on campus, whether in student organizations, government, or advocacy within the community;
    • Opportunities in athletics, the arts, and more;
    • A Q&A moderated by an admissions counselor so you can ask about what's important to you.
